About These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Dolta Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and any individual or business (“you”, “the Client”) who purchases or uses services offered under the Gosites brand at gosites.uk.
By placing an order, making a payment, or engaging our services in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.
Our Services
We provide done-for-you website design and development services for UK businesses, including but not limited to:
- Single-page and multi-page website design and build
- Brand and visual direction
- Copy structure and content guidance
- Tech stack setup (hosting, domains, analytics, email infrastructure)
- Revisions and post-delivery support as specified in your chosen plan
The specific scope of work is determined by the plan you select at the time of purchase. Any work outside the agreed scope may be subject to a separate quotation.
Your Responsibilities as the Client
Our ability to deliver your project on time and to a high standard depends on your active cooperation. By engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information. Supply all business information, brand assets, copy, images, login credentials, and any other materials reasonably required by us in a timely manner. Delays in providing materials may result in delays to your project delivery.
- Designate a single point of contact. All communication should flow through one primary contact on your side to avoid conflicting instructions.
- Respond promptly. We may require your feedback, approvals, or decisions at various stages of the project. Failure to respond within a reasonable timeframe (typically 5 working days) may be treated as approval of the work as presented, or may result in the project being placed on hold.
- Provide accurate content. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all content you supply to us. This includes text, images, logos, business information, and any other materials.
- Ensure you have the rights to use all materials. You confirm that any content, images, logos, or other materials you provide are owned by you or that you have the legal right to use them. You indemnify Dolta Ltd against any claims arising from the use of materials you have supplied.
Payment
- All fees are as stated at the time of purchase.
- Payment is required in full prior to work commencing, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All payments are processed in GBP.
- All sales are final. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
Delivery Timelines
We aim to deliver a first draft of your website within 24 to 48 hours of your onboarding call being completed. This timeline is conditional on:
- All required materials and information being supplied by you in advance of or during the onboarding call.
- Your availability for the onboarding call within a reasonable timeframe after purchase.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on project scope, client responsiveness, and unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate any significant delays to you promptly.
Revisions
Each plan includes a defined number of major revision rounds and unlimited minor revisions, as stated at the time of purchase. A “minor revision” refers to small changes such as text edits, colour adjustments, or image swaps. A “major revision” involves a significant change to layout, structure, or direction.
Revisions that fall outside the agreed scope or revision allowance may be quoted separately.
Intellectual Property and Ownership
Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the completed website — including the source code, design files, and all original content created by us specifically for your project — is transferred to you.
We retain the right to:
- Display your completed project in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless you notify us in writing that you object to this.
- Retain and reuse any general methodologies, code libraries, templates, frameworks, or tools developed independently of your project.
You are responsible for maintaining and securing your own hosting, domain, and infrastructure after handoff. We are not liable for any issues arising from third-party platforms or services after delivery.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared during the course of the project that is not publicly available. This obligation continues after the project is completed.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Dolta Ltd’s total liability to you in connection with any project shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that project.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of data, or reputational damage.
- We are not liable for the performance, uptime, or conduct of any third-party platforms, hosting providers, or tools recommended or used in the course of your project.
- We do not guarantee any specific business outcomes, search engine rankings, or commercial results arising from your website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Termination
Either party may terminate the project in writing. In the event of termination:
- All payments made to date are non-refundable.
- Any work completed up to the point of termination remains the property of Dolta Ltd until all outstanding payments have been settled.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if you are in breach of these Terms, or if your conduct towards our team is unreasonable.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dolta Ltd, its directors, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms.
- Any content or materials you have supplied.
- Any use of your website after delivery.
Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to power failures, internet outages, acts of God, or changes in law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to your project. We will publish updates on our website.
